Matthew McGrory (May 17, 1973 - August 8, 2005) is an American actor, famous for his height.

McGrory was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, son of Maureen, a housewife, and George McGrory, an accountant. He studied pre-law at Widener University. He also studied Criminal Justice at West Chester University. McGrory grows with a height of 7Ã, 6 ft deep (2.29 m) and has a shoe size of 29.5. He is over five feet (1.5 m) tall by the time he finishes kindergarten.

Careers
McGrory's large size led to appearances on The Howard Stern Show beginning in December 1996 as a member of Stern's Wack Pack. She also appeared on Oprah Winfrey's daytime talk show and in music videos including Iron Maiden's "The Wicker Man" and 1999 Marilyn Manson's "Coma White" (and God VHS cover). He can also be seen in Blondie's video for their 2003 hit "Good Boys."
Due to his high and deep voice, he was asked to play a role in the movie acting as a giant - he did it in movies like Bubble Boy (2001), Big Fish (2003), House of 1000 Corpses (2003) and The Devil's Rejects (2005). Television appearances include Malcolm in the Middle , Charmed , and CarnivÃÆ' le . The Guinness Book of World Records gave him the title of the highest actor. At the time of his death, he was filming a biography of Andrà ©  © Giant where he described the famous wrestler.
Death
He lives in Sherman Oaks, California, with his girlfriend Melissa who is now good friends with Scott Pollock. On August 8, 2005, McGrory died at the age of 32 because of heart failure.
