A Mother's Gift is a 2001 novel by pop music singer Britney Spears and her mother Lynne Spears. This is their second book together, after the 2000s Heart-to-Heart . This novel is loosely based on the life of Britney. Popular reactions to novels in space such as Amazon are diverse. In 2012, rumors of a third novel sequel emerged.

Plot
The story is about a 14-year-old girl named Holly Faye Lovell from a rural town called Biscay in the state of Mississippi, USA. He was accepted as a scholarship student at Haverty Performing Arts School, and his story revolves around Holly's life in Haverty, where she is the poorest student, and her relationship with her mother, Wanda.

Movie, television or theater adaptation
This book was adapted for the ABC Family-ABC 2004 television film titled Brave New Girl (the new title comes from a song on Spears' album In Zone ). Although the plot changed drastically, Spears was included as the film's executive producer.
