Keratoderma blennorrhagicum etymologically means keratin (kerato-) skin (derma-) mucus (blenno-) discharge (-rrhagia) (also called keratoderma blennorrhagica ) is a common skin lesion found on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet but can spread to the scrotum, scalp and torso. The lesion may resemble psoriasis.
Keratoderma blennorrhagicum is generally seen as an additional feature of reactive arthritis in nearly 15% of male patients. Appearance is usually a vesic-pustular waxes lesion with yellow brown. These lesions can join together to form larger crusty plaques with peeling edges.
