Munnar is a city and hill station located in Idukki district in India's southwestern state of Kerala. Munnar is located at about 1,600 meters (5,200 feet) above sea level on average, in the mountains of the Western Ghats. Munnar is also called "Kashmir from South India" and is a favorite destination for honeymoon.
