Histori

In 1962, Henry Uihlein left his position at Ben-Hur Freezer Company to start producing products from his own inventions. He named his company "U-Line," a phonetic representation of his German origin. Its invention - the ice-basement underground ice maker - is the first product of its kind, and its popularity with more affluent homeowners helps its company fund further research and development into additional cooling products. Currently, U-Line Corporation produces several combinations of ice makers, refrigerators, freezers and under-standard wine storage systems. Many of them include advanced features, such as dual-zone temperature control in the case of wine storage systems. The company has also introduced a series of refrigerators. All company products can be "built" to blend in with the unattractive decor of the room.
