Curtis Stone (born November 4, 1975) is an Australian celebrity chef, writer and television personality, dubbed "The Quiet Terminator" by fans after his performance at The Celebrity Apprentice 3.
He has been an ambassador (on-air "television face") of Coles Supermarket in Australia since 2010, with a lucrative contract.

He was born in Melbourne, Australia. Stone started cooking with his grandmother, Maude, at the age of four. His father, Bryan Stone, was an accountant.

Careers
Stone studied for his Bachelor of Business before deciding to pursue a career as a chef. He worked in some of Australia's top restaurants before heading off to work in various restaurants in London. In Australia, he started his cooking career at the age of 18 at the Savoy Hotel. After finishing qualification as a chef, Stone began cooking in London under Marco Pierre White in the kingdom Cafà © and Mirabelle, and quickly became head of the chef at White Quo Vadis. On February 1, 2014, Stone opened his first restaurant, Maude, in Beverly Hills, California.
Television
Stone returns briefly to Australia to create a cooking show Surfing on Menu (on ABC TV) with another chef, Ben O'Donoghue.
Stone has appeared in numerous cooking programs in the UK, including Dinner in the Box , Good Food Live and Kitchen Saturday . He also hosted the first season of My Restaurant Rules in Australia. Started in May 2006, Stone hosted the Take House Chef at TLC in the United States, which later became an international hit for TLC.
Stone appears regularly on NBC Today . His second appearance in 2007 featured him visiting Meredith Vieira's home host to teach him how to cook, because his children complained that he did not know how. On January 14, 2011, Stone hosted the fourth hour Today with Hoda Kotb. She also appeared on Martha Stewart's Martha , Hollywood Access , Lopez Tonight , The Nate Berkus Show , The Talk , The Chew , and Rachael Ray . On June 7, 2011, Curtis was a guest at Conan , where he taught Conan O'Brien how to prepare a perfect date dinner.
Stone has appeared on Food Network's Iron Chef America in the episode "Battle Skipjack Tuna," in which he lost to Iron Chef Bobby Flay. Stone has also appeared on several episodes of The Biggest Loser .
Stone is a candidate at The Celebrity Apprentice 3 , which aired in March 2010 and is the third edition for the celebrity version of The Apprentice . The show aired on March 14, 2010, and Stone was fired on May 16, 2010, placing fourth of 14 contestants. On the same day (May 16, 2010), Stone is co-hosted "Miss USA 2010", which was won by "Rima Fakih" from Dearborn, Michigan. Stone has also made appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Stone appeared in the Oprah Ultimate Australian Adventure segment, a four-day television show aired in January 2011. Stone threw a talk show into a beach barbecue at Whitsunday Island's Whitehaven Beach using Australia's finest seafood, meats and crops.
In June 2010, NBC's new serial producer America's Next Great Restaurant announced that Stone will join the assessment and investment panel together with Bobby Flay, Steve Ells and Lorena Garcia. The first season premiered in 2011 was immediately followed by the fourth edition of The Celebrity Apprentice, where Stone made guest appearances in the first episode.
In 2011, Stone hosted the third season of Bravo's Top Chef Masters , replacing Kelly Choi. In January 2012, Bravo announced that Stone will host a new culinary reality show called Around the World in 80 Plates with fellow Cat Cora celebrity chefs. The series, which aired in May 2012, follows 12 chefs who compete in culinary competitions in 10 countries in 44 days. Stone also hosts and anchored on the bench for the top Chef Duels franchise edition of the Top Chef, in 2014.
Stone also appeared in commercials for Coles Supermarket, Hy-Vee, Bi-Lo, and Great Grains cereals. In 2011 Stone describes to GQ Australia its relationship with a big supermarket: "I never even thought of working in a supermarket but there's a feeling you get when you walk down the street and someone comes up and says' You know what? We never cook fish in our house because we've tried the salmon recipe, we have it once a week. ' Feelings that give you a million other things worth. "
In August 2012, Stone appeared on the episode of MasterChef Australia All-Stars . He returned to MasterChef in May 2015 for MasterClass with Marco Pierre White. Stone started hosting the Kitchen Inferno in 2014 and guided Food Network's first culinary competition, All Star Academy, by 2015. He appeared on the network again in the summer of 2015 for two episodes from show Guilty Pleasures .
In 2015, Stone also appeared in the second season of Celebrity Family Feud.
Stone hosted the reality cooking series FOX My Kitchen Rules . Stone has previously appeared in the original version of Australia from this program.

In 2007, Stone hosted Masterclass Culinary Festival on Hamilton Island featuring other notable Australian chefs, including Geoff Jansz, Shannon Bennett and Justin North.
In 2008, Stone developed "Kitchen Solutions by Curtis Stone," a line of kitchen utensils, accessories, and glassware. She has also written a series of cookbooks, including Surfing the Menu: Two Chefs, One Trip: Fresh Food Adventures , Cooking With Curtis: Easy Recipes, Every Day, and Adventures for Home Cook , and Casual Cooking with Curtis Stone: Recipes to Put You in the Mood of My Favorites . Cook's 2013 Cookbook What's For Dinner? became a bestselling book of the New York Times and translated into Chinese in December 2014. Stone's new book, Good Food, Good Life, was launched in March 2015 in America United States and Canada and May 2015 in Australia.
In 2010, Stone gave cooking classes and demonstrations at the Singapore Sun Festival. In October 2010 it was announced that Stone had created recipes for in-flight meals for United Airlines.
In 2011, he was appointed ambassador to Cottage by the Sea, alongside the big wave surfer Jeff Rowley and Olympian Cathy Freeman. The ambassadors help Australian charities raise funds to provide short vacations for disadvantaged children. Stone also works with Feeding America, a domestic hunger relief charity, and Second-Bite, which redistributes nutritional surplus food to those in need.
Personal life
Stone began dating American actress Lindsay Price in late 2009. Stone and Price became engaged in July 2012, and married on June 8, 2013 in Spain. They have two sons.
Stone is a fan of Geelong Football Club.
